Brand Release: Krossbones Brewery

The Kross brothers, Alex and Alan, grew up in South, GA watching their grandfather craft his own beer and tell stories from his youth. While teaching Alex and Alan respect for good beer and a good work ethic, their grandfather, Amos grew older in age.

A brewery focused around quality beer and hard work.

After Amos's passing, Alex and Alan wanted to continue their grandfather's legacy by opening a brewery focused around quality beer and hard work. "Krossbones Brewery" is located in South, GA where the Kross brothers grew up. Alex and Alan aim to give customers the same feeling of having a quality beer as they felt with their grandfather. Their most popular beer is the "Sea Goddess."

Objective:

Alex and Alan originally approached us for a label design for a seasonal release, but upon further research we determined a brand overhaul was best. Our goal was to develop a flexible brand that could be applied to the South Georgia brewery.

Outcome:

The final product was a bold, statement-making design that catches attention on the shelves of supermarkets. The design lends itself to the culture of the company and the crisp taste of the brewery’s offerings.

The logo would be used extensively in print media, primarily on labeling, but also on promotional items like shirts, coasters, and hats. It was important to us to use bold colors that are universally printable to make reproduction achievable by the client.
